1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME], a company registered in [JURISDICTION] under number [COMPANY NUMBER] ("we", "us", the "Operator"). They govern your use of the Peek Duel Telegram Mini App, the Telegram bot @Peek_Duel_bot and this website (together, the "Service").
Licensing information: [LICENCE NUMBER / REGULATOR — to be completed].
The Game rules, Provably fair policy, Responsible gaming policy and Privacy Policy form part of these Terms.
2. Eligibility (18+)
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to use the Service.
- You must have full legal capacity and use the Service only for yourself, not on behalf of others.
- You must not be located in, or a resident of, a Prohibited Jurisdiction (section 3) when using real-money features.
- You must not be self-excluded from the Service or from gaming services elsewhere.
- We may request proof of age and identity at any time. Accounts of minors are closed and deposits returned where the law allows.
3. Prohibited jurisdictions
Real-money features (skill duels, paid tournaments, deposits and withdrawals) are not available to persons located in, or residents of, the following jurisdictions:
[LIST OF PROHIBITED JURISDICTIONS — to be confirmed by legal counsel]
The list may change at any time as laws change. Using a VPN, proxy or any other method to hide your location or circumvent these restrictions is a material breach of these Terms and may lead to account closure. Free modes may remain available where permitted.
4. Your account
- Your game account is linked to your Telegram account. One person — one account.
- You are responsible for keeping your Telegram account secure and for all activity on your game account.
- Accounts are personal: you may not sell, share, lend or transfer them.
- The information you provide must be accurate. We may verify your identity (KYC) and source of funds where required by law or our risk policies.
5. Nature of the game
- Peek Duel is a game of skill. The outcome of a duel is determined by the players' timing, aim and decisions.
- In real-money modes players compete only against each other. The Operator never participates as a player and no house bots are used.
- Money-mode opponents are matched randomly within a stake tier; both players have identical weapons and parameters.
- Coins are a virtual in-game currency with no monetary value. They cannot be withdrawn, sold or exchanged for money.
6. Deposits, withdrawals and fees
- Deposits and withdrawals in USDT are processed by the third-party crypto payment gateway NOWPayments; its terms may also apply.
- Deposits are credited after blockchain confirmation. Funds sent to the wrong address, on the wrong network or in an unsupported token may be lost; we will try to help but cannot guarantee recovery.
- Withdrawals are sent only to the address you provide and are subject to risk checks. New accounts may have a withdrawal holding period of up to [24] hours; large amounts may require manual approval; identity verification may be required above [THRESHOLD].
- Fees: 8% rake on the pot of every real-money duel; 10% of buy-ins in paid tournaments. Network or gateway fees, if any, are shown before you confirm.
- Your balance is not a bank deposit and does not earn interest. Promotional funds may be subject to wagering requirements stated in the offer.
- You are responsible for any taxes due on your winnings in your jurisdiction.
7. Fair-play rules
You agree not to:
- use cheats, bots, aim assistance, macros, scripts, emulators for automation or modified clients;
- tamper with network traffic, the game client or the server;
- operate more than one account or play on another person's account;
- collude with other players, deliberately lose, play passively or "chip dump" to transfer value;
- exploit bugs or errors — please report them to support instead;
- use the Service for money laundering, fraud or any unlawful purpose;
- harass, threaten or abuse other players or staff.
8. Anti-cheat sanctions
We use server-side validation, behavioural analysis, device and network signals and match replays to detect violations. Depending on severity, we may apply one or more of the following measures:
- a warning;
- restriction from real-money modes or tournaments;
- annulment of affected matches, with stakes returned to the affected opponents;
- forfeiture of winnings obtained through the violation;
- temporary or permanent account suspension;
- reporting to competent authorities where required by law.
You may appeal a decision by contacting support through @Peek_Duel_bot within [14] days. Appeals are reviewed by a different staff member using the stored replays and server data.
9. Funds freeze policy
We may temporarily freeze an account balance (suspend withdrawals and real-money play) where:
- cheating, collusion, multi-accounting or other fair-play violations are suspected;
- identity, age or source-of-funds checks are pending, incomplete or failed;
- a deposit appears to come from a suspicious or illicit source;
- we receive a lawful request from a regulator, court or law-enforcement authority;
- we detect a security incident affecting the account.
During a freeze we will notify you through the bot and, where the law allows, explain the reason and what documents are needed. We aim to complete reviews within [X] business days.
Outcomes: the freeze is lifted in full; or winnings obtained through a violation are forfeited and, where permitted, used to compensate affected players, while remaining legitimate deposits are returned; or funds are retained or handed over where required by law.
10. Match disputes
Every match is recorded as a server replay. Report a disputed result to support through @Peek_Duel_bot within [7] days, including the match ID. The server record is the authoritative source for determining results.
11. Service availability
We may suspend the Service for maintenance or updates. If a confirmed server-side fault affects a real-money match, the match is voided and stakes are returned. We are not responsible for losses caused by your own device, connection or Telegram outages, except as required by law.
12. Responsible gaming
We provide personal limits and self-exclusion, including the /selfexclude command in @Peek_Duel_bot. See our Responsible gaming page.
13. Intellectual property
Peek Duel, its name, logo, characters, art, software and content are owned by or licensed to the Operator. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
14. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the balance of your account at the time of the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced through the bot or on this website before they take effect. If you continue to use the Service after that, you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW]. Disputes are subject to the courts of [VENUE], unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
